Ever since the beginning of Sustainable Dance Club™, we have received a great number of requests and e-mails from Brazil. Getting interest and enthusiasm is the first step, but also strength, creativity and capacity are needed to realise a project.
Now living in 2010 we have started to do business with a number of organizations in Brazil; the country were party and nature goes hand in hand.
Carnival in Salvador last February was the first event where the Sustainable Dance Floor made the Brazilians dancing. This event was sponsored by LG and the Sustainable Dance Floor was one of the events main attractions.
Later in April, we have realised the very first permanent installation of the SDF. The Eco House in Sao Paulo is the first very fully sustainable event location in Brazil. The building has been rebuild with all organic materials and the water is re-used in a spectacular way. Brazil is developing rapidly which gives opportunities for SDC. Together with Industria de Entretenimento, leaders in clubbing in South America, we are investigating the possibility to start a company in Sao Paulo. We are hoping to open up a shop in Brazil at the end of this year, the few coming months will be very exciting!
